The functional neurorehabilitation centre for rehabilitation of spinal cord injuries using computerised electronic stimulation offers inpatient, day hospital and outpatient treatment.

As well as a complete series of physiotherapy treatments for muscular re-education, sophisticated modern techniques and examinations have been developed, including:

• biofeedback
• l'electromyographic analysis of muscle mass and walking
• computerised electronic stimulation.

The latter envisages the activation of paralysed muscle masses using computer-controlled electric stimulus, and if there are no specific contraindications, paralysed limb functions will be recuperated and the patient can walk again.

Patients admitted to the Centre may be able to avail themselves of agreements stipulated with major insurance companies.
