The rehabilitation medicine department is located on the ground floor of a recently restructured building called "Laghetto".

The rooms are located on the ground floor of this building, whereas speech therapy, gym and surgeries are located in a lower ground floor area.

This unit admits patients with neurological (hemiplegia, paraplegia, result of cranial-encephalic traumas, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, motor neuron disease, peripheral neuropathies) and orthopaedic-rheumatologic (hip and

knee replacements for fractures and arthritis, spondyloarthrosis with or without sciatica, consequences of simple and multiple fractures or stiff joints, rheumatic disorders like rheumatoid arthritis) disabilities.

The rehabilitative medicine department offers rehabilitation therapy for recovery of motorial ability, speech therapy, including for cognitive and dysphagic problems, walking re-education, pain therapies using electromedical devices, vertebra exercises and stretching, functional re-education following limb traumas and neurological damage.

Day hospital treatments are also available under a special agreement; outpatient treatment is charged.
